Republic Square Phase II, has joined a select group of innovative buildings who have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability, and received LEED GOLD Certification.
Located in the heart of Capitol Hill 660 N. Capitol/Republic Square is an "An Office Building Like no Other". Built on the last of the last developmental land in Capitol Hill, its only a two minute walk from Washington’s key commuter core, Union Station, DC’s largest mall with over 50 shops and restaurants.
EDG2 provided MEP drawings and details to achieve minimum LEED compliance with the existing design, and determined options to meet minimum LEED Gold compliance. We provided the design for an additional 2000 SF (approx) fitness center at the concourse level, including related structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection work, revised and updated specifications. EDG2 also provided LEED Core and Shell 2009 – EA P.1 Fundamental Commissioning of Building Energy Systems with the following requirements as the project’s Fundamental Commissioning authority (CxA).
