Shariar Makarechi, PhD, PEDr. Makarechi has over 33 years of experience in design and project management of Mechanical and Electrical systems as well as construction phase services for major commercial, residential, institutional and mission critical facilities. Dr. Makarechi has held senior and principal level positions with some of the most reputable engineering companies in East and West coasts of USA as well as the Middle East.
Dr. Makarechi is a national authority on HVAC design and energy efficiency and in addition to his engineering practice he has taught Project Management, Building Codes and M&E Systems extensively at Georgia Tech and Southern Tech (now Kennesaw State) universities. He has several publications in professional and academic journals in the areas of building systems integration, energy monitoring, management and automation performance. |
