Shadi Makarechi, PEShadi Makarechi, is the CEO and President of EDG2. He has extensive experience overseeing a multitude of high-visibility projects for data center and critical facility clients. In the course of nearly 30 years in the industry, he has distinguished himself as a pioneer in the field of mechanical engineering for mission critical facility design.
Mr. Makarechi is one of the original users of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in mechanical design of computer rooms, and contributed to the development of the Tile Flow software. He also created a variety of prefab designs to speed up the construction of data centers, which distinguished EDG2 as the leader in design of mechanical engineering for data center projects that require fast track implementation. Mr. Makarechi holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Catholic University of America. He is a registered Professional Engineer in over 20 states. |
