Geoff Cope, PEGeoff Cope, is a Senior Vice President of EDG2 and leads the firm’s electrical engineering division. He has more than 18 years of experience in designing and testing electrical distribution systems, in addition to several years working as a journeyman electrician. His design experience includes high profile projects for clients in such fields as government, telecommunication, Internet, financial, supercomputer and nuclear power. Mr. Cope also has extensive experience in UPS systems, generator plants and medium voltage installations.
In addition to design, Mr. Cope has been extensively involved with commissioning procedures and testing, including generator plants, UPS systems, power distribution systems, electromagnetic interference control, insulation testing and electrical characterization testing. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. |
