As industry experts in Energy and Asset Performance (EAP), we understand the complex interrelationships among HVAC controls, control programming, energy-consuming devices and all of the other factors that affect energy costs and the comfort of occupants. Our strengths in energy audits and development, coupled with solid Measurement and Verification (M&V), have led to viable energy savings projects that have exceeded our clients’ savings projections. We develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) using information obtained through on-site surveys, as well as from the client and other sources. Data is further analyzed using electronic analysis tools including Controls ESP™, our proprietary Evaluation, Simulation and Projection software.
Power Engineering
EDG2’s Power and Control team focuses on power generation projects, including cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) plants, electrical balance of plants (eBOP) for small and mid size gas turbines, biomass and fossil fuel plants for mission critical facilities and utility companies. We are a resource for clients who foster the use of clean, reliable and efficient on-site energy generation including cogeneration, biomass and other environment friendly energy resources. Our experts utilize several quality methods in their design and analysis, including Six Sigma tools, Design for Reliability (DFR), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Failure Mode, Effect, Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and a variety of risk assessment tools and methodologies.
